With over 13 years of experience working directly with families, she’s served as a preschool teacher, daycare attendant, nanny, swim instructor, and swim team coach. Most of her professional career has been in leadership, serving as General Manager for companies like Code Wiz, The Coder School, and Seaventures. She has trained staff to be exceptional mentors, designed curriculum rooted in real developmental psychology, particularly inspired by Jean Piaget’s cognitive development theory and built programs that meet every child where they are.

She took her love for psychology seriously during her undergraduate years at Georgia State University and continues to integrate those lessons into Smart Sports Academy. Her goal is to create an environment where students grow, staff are empowered, and parents feel seen, heard, and respected.

As a parent herself, she understands the value of safety, integrity, and trust in the parent-business relationship. Her mission is to build critical thinkers in science and math—subjects essential for understanding how the world works—and to introduce sports that build resilience, confidence, and persistence in children.

Her own sports and extracurricular activities journey began young:

  • She joined Mauldin High School’s track team in 7th grade - 8th grade (C Team)

  • Played JV tennis in 8th grade at Mauldin High School

  • Swam for the Brookside Barracudas swim team (5th–7th grade)

  • Danced and played co-ed soccer throughout elementary school

  • Played co-ed basketball in 3rd and 4th grade with Upward, a program known for building leadership and character

  • Took Piano Lessons 4th-7th Grade at Piano Central Studios in Greenville, SC

Smart Sports Academy is the product of her lived experience, her heart for children, and her commitment to developing the next generation of leaders, thinkers, and achievers. She doesn’t just want to teach children—she wants to inspire them to exceed every expectation, just as she did.
